03 / Behind the sound

An artist’s perspective.
An engineer’s curiosity.

Forbidden Nikill makes music and is studying audio engineering at Metalworks. This is a space for the releases, the learning and the creative work taking shape along the way.

The focus is simple: understand the song, respect the artist’s direction and keep developing the craft. For a potential collaboration, start with your music and the story behind it.

you hearing?

A single. A vocal. A project that’s still taking shape. Tell a little of the story and put the first brief together.

No ready-made pitch needed. A clear idea, a few references and an honest conversation are a good start.

A few things to know

Before we
press record.

What should I have ready for a mixing project?

Start with a rough mix, a description of the sound you want and one or two references. Before file delivery, agree on the session format, track exports, creative scope and any editing that may be needed.

Are prices and turnaround times fixed?

No. Track count, recording condition and the amount of work can vary. Pricing, revisions, deliverables and dates should be agreed directly before the project begins.

Is the music shown here also a mixing-credit portfolio?

The Spotify player showcases Forbidden Nikill’s artist releases. It does not assert mixing, production or mastering credits for each song. Confirmed project roles and before-and-after examples can be added separately with permission.

Does this form send a real project enquiry yet?
